Christmas Ornaments
HoHoHo!!
As a child of the 70s, I grew up in the era of shiny aluminum trees, bright plastic ornaments and plug in everything!
When I got married, my wife and I wanted to blend my Italian/catholic traditions with her family’s Jewish traditions and come up with our own holiday celebrations that we could share and establish with the kids.
As a woodworker, I save the beautiful cut offs from my other projects during the year and select the best for ornaments. I start tracing, cutting and sanding in the early Fall so they will be ready in time for the holidays.
Traditional shapes like stars, Christmas Trees, round ornaments, snow men are available along with our interfaith shapes of the Jewish star and dradel.
These ornaments are finished simply with walnut oil and beeswax.
Enjoy!
